O'Flaherty Law was founded with the mission to provide comprehensive, client-focused, quality legal services in a community setting. As the practice has grown from the founding attorney, Kevin O'Flaherty, to 10+ full-time licensed attorneys and an experienced support staff, we feel we are in a better position than ever to fulfill our mission.
Founded in 2011, O'Flaherty Law was built around the idea that if you treat your clients and your employees with respect and compassion, they will project that sentiment back to you and their friends and family. We achieve this through the three parts of our mission:
Comprehensive. Law is complex, and our clients seek us out because they trust that we have experience in their legal matter and their best interests at heart. Having a team of attorneys allows us to attack a case from different angles with multiple legal inputs, ensuring we provide the most effective solution possible.
Client-focused. We strive to ensure every client understands they are important to us, not just the client's legal matter but the client personally. We know the outcome of a client's case will impact their personal lives, in some cases significantly. But no matter the outcome, we want every client to walk away happy... no exceptions.
Quality. We never rest on our laurels. We believe you should never settle for anything less than being the absolute best at what you do while providing the highest quality legal work to your client.
In the summer of 2018, we established our main Naperville office, which houses our intake and legal ops teams and is the home base for many of our attorneys. To date, we have 25+ locations servicing four states and numerous counties. We have a strong team of attorneys and support staff practicing nearly every area of law and a massive network of happy clients who have spread the word about our services.

Many of our clients are going through difficult times in their lives when they reach out to us. Finding an attorney that is a “real person” can be difficult. Many attorneys surround themselves almost exclusively with other attorneys and are accustomed to speaking in ivory tower legalese. You should be able to connect with your attorney on a personal level, and he or she should speak to you in plain language that you can understand. You will be working very closely with this person on issues that are very important to you. It is important that he or she be down-to-Earth and someone that you connect with.
The most common complaint that clients have of their attorneys is that the attorney is unreachable, does not communicate with them regularly, or does not promptly return your calls. Your attorney should reach out to you about your case regularly and respond within 24 hours to calls and e-mails. An open line of communication between you and your attorney is essential to building trust.

It is important that your attorney set realistic expectations at the outset as to the costs you should expect, concerns that the attorney has about the outcome of your case, and the length of time that you should expect your case to take.
